Within 24 hours, more than 100 people have again died of Corona.
In Austria, 4,002 people have died with or due to the corona virus so far. This is shown in the daily figures of the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Health. The number of newly infected persons within 24 hours is 2,377, slightly higher than the previous day’s figure (2,263), according to figures released on Tuesday (as of 9:30 a.m.). 3,917 corona patients were undergoing hospital treatment, 609 of them in intensive care units.
So far, there have been 308,070 positive test results in Austria. 262,314 have recovered. Thus, as of Tuesday, 41,754 persons are still active cases.
The new infections are divided among the federal states of Austria as follows:

Carinthia: 259
Lower Austria: 304
Upper Austria: 456
Salzburg: 241
Styria: 361
Tyrol: 263
Vorarlberg: 75
Vienna: 362
