+1,009 new infections Austria-wide, +33 deaths

To date, there have been 405,723 positive test results in Austria. As of today (January 25, 2021, 09:30), 7,451 people have died from coronavirus across Austria (+33 compared to the previous day) and 383,200 have recovered. Currently, 1,846 people are in hospital care due to the coronavirus (+ 29) and of these, 320 of the ill are in intensive care units (no change from the previous day).

The new infections are divided among the provinces as follows:

Burgenland: 44
Carinthia: 85
Lower Austria: 211
Upper Austria: 140
Salzburg: 72
Styria: 110
Tyrol: 104
Vorarlberg: 61
Vienna: 182
