The City of Vienna is continuously increasing the capacity of Corona testing facilities. As of Thursday, the sixth test lane will be available at Schönbrunn Palace. Including the expansion of the existing test location Stadthalle, a total of around 205,000 antigen tests per day will be possible from the weekend onwards, said Peter Hacker (SPÖ), City Councillor for Health, on Wednesday.

Already for months there are in the Federal Capital the test roads with the Happel stadium, on the Danube island and with the Austria center. Recently, the Stadthalle and a school near the Alterlaa residential park were added. As of tomorrow, Thursday, the Schönbrunn site will also be available. For this purpose, two drive-in lines for up to 1,200 people per day will be set up at the new bus park and three walk-in lines for up to 2,250 tests per day will be set up at the Orangerie opposite. At some locations, the testing offer is for people without symptoms, and at others, for those with mild symptoms. All addresses are available HERE.
