71,135 people in Austria already fully immunized

The number of Corona vaccinations increased again last week. Up to and including Sunday, 80,852 new vaccinations were entered in the E-vaccination certificate. In total, at least 212,062 people had been vaccinated by Sunday, which corresponds to a vaccination coverage of 2.38 percent of the population. In fact, it is somewhat more, because the registrations are partly delayed.

The majority of the 80,852 from the previous week, namely 55,269, have received persons who had already previously received a first vaccination dose now and were “fully immunized” with the second dose. In total, 71,135 people have received the two doses necessary for full vaccination (0.8 percent of the population).
