From Friday to Saturday, 1,877 new Corona infections were reported in Austria. That is 59 cases more than the day before.
Because 1,629 new recovered people were reported at the same time, the number of actively ill people rose to 15,885 – the highest level in almost a month.
Twenty new deaths were also reported, bringing the total so far to 8,368 people who have died with coronavirus and 419,283 who have recovered. There are currently 1,286 people in hospital care due to corona virus, 261 of whom are in intensive care units.
To date, there have been 443526 positive test results in Austria.
