Within 24 hours, 1,920 new infections and 31 deaths were reported.
For the second day in a row, fewer than 2,000 new infections were reported in Austria. Within 24 hours, exactly 1,920 new infections and 31 deaths were registered. At the same time, however, the situation in hospitals is coming to a head again. Compared to the previous day, 68 more patients have to be treated in normal wards and 6 more in intensive care units.
So far, there have been 462,769 positive test results in Austria. As of today (March 2, 2021, 9:30 a.m.), 8,605 people across Austria have died as a result of Corona virus and 433,873 have recovered. Currently, 1,427 people are undergoing hospitalization for Corona virus. Of these, 296 are being cared for in intensive care units.
