The 7-day incidence decreased very slightly to 253.5 cases per 100,000 population.

However, the situation in hospitals remains tense. 84 more patients have to be treated in normal wards, and ten more people have been transferred to an intensive care unit. This means that 2,321 have been hospitalized throughout Austria and 544 intensive care beds are already occupied by Covid patients

So far, 542,542 cases have been counted in Austria, 9,308 people have died and 497,816 recovered. of which 544 were intensive care. 3,001 new infections Austria-wide.
