For those on short notice, testing is also available without registration (e-card and photo ID required). Appointments can be made by calling the toll-free number 0800 220 330 or online at www.test-station.at or www.oesterreich-testet.at.

The test results are provided within 15 minutes and, if negative and not older than 48h, also count as a “free test” for body-related service providers. “This service is our contribution to contain the pandemic as soon as possible. With the new test lane, The Mall offers the residents in the 3rd district, but also the thousands of employees in the companies in and around WIEN MITTE an unbureaucratic testing opportunity. In addition, there are excellent connections to the public transport network (including U3, U4), which reduces the time required for our visitors to a minimum. Even commuters only have to get off the train for a short time, take the test and can then continue their journey immediately,” says Roland Pinz, who is in charge of the shopping center as Managing Director of CC Real.

Registration and procedure
The test street is open from Mon. to Fri. between 07:00-19:00 and on Sat. from 09:00-17:00. After registration, the test is taken in one of four test cabins by the medical staff of the “Apotheke zur St. Elisabeth”. After 15 minutes, the results are sent directly to the test person’s cell phone or as an e-mail. Persons without online access can pick up the printed result promptly in the test lane.
