The number of active cases drops to 26,555 as there are also 2,700 new recoveries today.

There are also 29 new deaths associated with Covid 19 infection. This means that 10,055 people have died since the start of the pandemic.

There are 68 fewer patients in normal wards in Austrian hospitals, and 10 fewer patients in intensive care units.
