As of Saturday, more than two million Austrians have received their first vaccination dose. Almost one million people in Austria have already been fully immunized, Health Minister Wolfgang Mückstein let it be known: “The pace of vaccination is continuously increasing.”
This is also reflected in falling infection figures. From yesterday to today, 1,026 new infections and eight new deaths related to Covid-19 were registered.
409 patients in intensive care
So far, there have been 631,076 positive test results in Austria. As of today, 10,382 people across Austria have died as a result of Corona virus and 603,901 have recovered. Currently, 1,270 people are undergoing hospital treatment due to the Corona virus. Of these, 409 are being cared for in intensive care units.
