From Monday to Tuesday, there were 58 new Corona infections in Austria. Compared to the previous week (117 cases), this is a significant minus of 59 cases. This also brings the 7-day incidence down to 9.88, below 10 for the first time since August 12.
In the past 24 hours, there have been four new deaths associated with Covid 19 infection.
In addition, there were 158 new recoveries, also bringing the number of active cases down to 2,521.
There were also 38,208 PCR tests performed from Monday to Tuesday, resulting in a positive rate of 0.15 percent.
