No new deaths related to the virus have been reported from Sunday to Monday.
From yesterday to today, 263 new infections with the coronavirus were reported in Austria. There were no new deaths related to corona infection. There are currently 3,569 active cases in Austria. The seven-day incidence is 24.6 cases per 100,000 population.
In addition, there are 127 new recovered cases within the past 24 hours. Since yesterday, 35,473 new PCR tests have been performed, a positive rate of 0.74 percent.
In Austrian hospitals, three patients have been added to normal wards. In intensive care units, there are two more patients.
Highest rate in Vienna
The province with the highest seven-day incidence today is Vienna with 37.7, followed by Salzburg, Carinthia and Tyrol (34.4, 24.7 and 24.1, respectively). This is further followed by Styria (22.1), Vorarlberg (21.3), Upper Austria (19.9), Lower Austria (16.6) and Burgenland (5.1).
