In the first four hours, 80 people were reportedly immunized, and another 50 would still be waiting.
The Corona vaccination center in the north tower of St. Stephen’s Cathedral, which was newly opened today (Thursday), has been well received by the Viennese, according to the office of Health City Councilor Peter Hacker (SPÖ). According to the report, 80 people had already been immunized in the first four hours, with another 50 still waiting. Vaccination-willing must bring along only their E-Card and an official photo identity card, advance notification is not necessary.

The possibility of being vaccinated unbureaucratically, without an appointment and at a flexible location – in vaccination buses, vaccination boxes, the vaccination boat, or in the Austria Center Vienna – has so far been used by more than 50,000 Viennese (as of Wednesday). Vaccinations are administered at the Steffl from Thursday to Sunday between 10:00 and 21:00.
