As of today, August 15, the “Green Passport” for vaccinated persons is only valid if the second immunization has been completed. For those Corona who recovered after a covid illness and were vaccinated only once, there is a solution for the “Green Passport” as of today. While in the vaccination certificates for twice vaccinated people “2/2” is written, for convalescents with one vaccination so far the note “1/2” can be found. From now on, this designation will be “1/1” for convalescents. Franz Leisch, the managing director of ELGA GmbH, said this in the Ö1 “Morgenjournal” on Tuesday.

“This means that even someone who has recovered and has only been vaccinated once – in accordance with the recommendations of the national vaccination panel – is considered to be fully vaccinated,” Leisch told ORF radio. As of today, these certificates should be available, because now one vaccination is no longer sufficient for the 3G regulation, unless one has been vaccinated with the single-use vaccine from Johnson & Johnson – or has just recovered and been vaccinated once.

The new EU-compliant vaccination certificates for vaccinated convalescents were created automatically until today and are made available via gesundheit.gv.at, it was said to the APA on request from the health department. Affected persons can then download their new vaccination certificate with the information “Dose 1/1” or have this printed out in the offices authorized to do so. People who have received a Corona vaccination with Johnson & Johnson do not have to download their vaccination certificate again.
