One new patient in intensive care. In addition, there are eleven new deaths related to Covid-19.
From Monday to Tuesday, 1,438 new Corona infections were registered in Austria. Compared to the previous week (1,229 cases), this is 209 cases more.
There are also 11 new deaths related to Covid 19 infection to report, bringing the pandemic death toll in Austria to 10,812 so far. The number of active cases rises to 17,535. The seven-day incidence is 119.57.
There are currently 614 people in Austria’s hospitals related to covid illness, up 35 from the previous day. 171 patients are in an intensive care unit – that is one more than the day before.
In the past 24 hours, 107,618 PCR tests have been performed, with a positive rate of 1.34 percent.
