From Thursday to Friday, 1,754 new cases were registered. Compared to the previous week (2,364), this is a decrease of 610 cases.
The 7-day incidence drops to 131.47. In addition, ten new Covid-related deaths were reported in the past 24 hours.
As of last week, ICU patients are an important gauge for further Corona measures. Currently, there are 220 ICU patients. Two new patients have been added in the past 24 hours. In the normal ward, 860 patients are currently being treated, with a decrease of 13 patients.
60.1 percent fully immunized
13,401 vaccinations were administered Thursday. A total of 5,685,519 people in Austria have received at least a partial vaccination, or 63.6 percent of the population, according to E-vaccination passport data. 5,371,741 people, or 60.1 percent of the population, are fully immunized.
More than two-thirds of the population have so far been fully immunized only in Burgenland. There, the vaccination coverage rate is now 67.7 percent. In Lower Austria, 62.9 percent are vaccinated, and in Styria 60.7 percent. After Vorarlberg (59.1), Vienna (58.8), Tyrol (58.5), Carinthia (56.5) and Salzburg (56.5), Upper Austria brings up the rear with a vaccination coverage rate of 55.3 percent.
