The Vienna New Year’s Eve Trail will not take place in 2021 either, after it was already cancelled last year due to the pandemic.
“Due to the still volatile infection situation, it is unfortunately also this year not possible to organize an event of this type and size in full compliance with the applicable requirements and 3-G controls,” organizer stadt wien marketing said on Sunday.
The safety of the visitors has top priority for the city. Therefore, the decision to send the New Year’s Eve Trail 2021 into the break extension was made with a heavy heart.
