Since Monday, a 2G obligation has been in force in Austria in large parts of public life. Now the SCS is also rushing ahead with a hammer rule.
In order to provide a further incentive for the Corona vaccination and to make public life safer for everyone, a 2G duty has been in force for most areas of public life since yesterday, Monday. Access to (night) catering, hotels or body-related services will henceforth only be available to vaccinated or recovered persons. Retail is basically open to all, with mandatory FFP2.
In the case of Shopping City Süd, the unvaccinated will continue to have access to Austria’s largest shopping mall, but not to its eateries.
In the entire center and in all stores, FFP2 masks are mandatory, but the 2-G rule only applies to the catering area.
Increased cleaning intervals
The entire interior of Shopping City Süd is regularly subjected to basic cleaning, it is emphasized. In addition, the cleaning intervals have been increased: “The sidewalks and traffic areas are continuously cleaned by machine, and the WC facilities and balustrades are cleaned by trained cleaning staff. Sufficient disinfectant dispensers are provided for you at all entrances, toilet facilities as well as receptions.”
