28,423 vaccination certificates invalid as of Monday

As of Monday, numerous vaccination certificates will become invalid throughout Austria, causing the vaccination coverage rate to drop.

The reason is a retroactive shortening of the validity of the certificates in the Green Passport from 360 to 270 days. The changes affect 28,423 certificates throughout Austria.

Persons who have recovered and have been vaccinated at least once are exempt. For them, the certificate is still valid for 360 days, said the Ministry of Health in response to an inquiry from APA.
