56 new deaths linked to Covid-19. 573 intensive care patients currently.
After problems with the daily Corona figures yesterday (Sunday) without new infection figures from Vienna and Styria, there are, including the missing figures from Sunday, 4,170 new infections today. The figures from Sunday to Monday are 3,251 new infections.
On the website of the Ministry of Social Affairs there is the following information:
EMS figures: Due to delayed reporting on 12/12/2021, EMS numbers will be higher on 12/13/2021.
In Styria, no daily data is available on 12.12.2021 or the data is missing in its entirety. For Vienna, no daily data on the total number of confirmed cases, deaths and recovered cases are available as of 12/12/2021.
The number of active cases drops to 64,794. 278,100 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, resulting in a positive rate of 1.50 percent.
In addition, 54 new deaths related to Covid-19 infection are being reported. Thus, the pandemic has so far claimed 13,218 lives in Austria.
Currently, 573 intensive care patients are being treated. That is 10 more. A total of 2,451 Covid-19-infected people were in hospitals across Austria on Monday, up by 19.
