The Ministries of Health and Interior have reported 24,946 newly registered CoV cases within the last 24 hours (as of 9:30 a.m. today). The states reported these numbers to the national crisis team.

14,019 people have died as a result of coronavirus so far. Currently, 1,284 people are undergoing hospital treatment due to the coronavirus, 189 of them in intensive care units.

AGES: 7-day incidence at 1,971.2
According to the Agency for Health and Food Safety (AGES), the 7-day incidence, i.e. the number of new infections with the coronavirus in the past seven days per 100,000 inhabitants, is 1,971.2 (as of yesterday, 14:00).

Tyrol has the highest value at 2,796.5, followed by Salzburg at 2,638.1. 7-day incidence is lowest in Styria (1,419.4) and Burgenland (1,420.9).

The AGES reporting scheme shows the previous day’s figures – like the ministries’ reporting. Significant difference to the ministry reports: Laboratory-confirmed cases, deaths, etc. are not shown at the time of reporting, but at the date of diagnosis or death.
