Forty-eight further deaths were associated with Covid 19 infection.
Compared to 53,071 the previous week and 52,045 the week before, 34,743 new infections were registered in Austria today. That’s up from the previous seven-day average of 31,381. Currently, 373,474 people in Austria are actively infected with the coronavirus.
The seven-day incidence is 2,467.90. In the past 24 hours, 610,960 new PCR tests were performed. This results in a positive rate of 8.86 percent.
There are also 48 new deaths associated with Covid 19 infections to report. To date, the Coronavirus has claimed 15,812 lives in Austria.
