Mandatory use of masks in schools ends

There is no longer a mask requirement at schools as of Monday, 26. April 2022. In classrooms and group rooms, the use of the FFP2 masks in schools is no longer mandatory.

Given the recent decline in the number of infections and the end of the unlimited free tests, the testing system at schools was scaled back only last week. Instead of three trials (at least two PCR, one antigen test), there is now only one PCR test per week at the schools. Antigen tests are now only used on an ad hoc basis if there were previously positive cases.
