In the past 24 hours, 74,300 PCR tests were performed. The positive rate is 3.46 percent.
Currently, there are 47,014 active Corona cases in Austria. In addition, there are ten new deaths. Thus, 18,343 people with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died so far throughout Austria.
Currently, 647 patients are being treated in the hospital, two less than on Friday. In intensive care units, 54 patients are treated, one less than the previous day.
Immunizations
Five thousand seventy vaccinations were administered Friday. According to E-vaccination data, a total of 5,977,257 people, or 66.6 percent of Austrians, still have valid vaccination protection, up from 68.4 percent four weeks ago.
