Six new deaths associated with Covid 19 infection have been reported.
From Thursday to Friday, 3,211 new infections were registered in Austria. This is above the average of 2,465 over the past seven days. Currently, 36,571 people in Austria are actively infected with coronavirus.
The seven-day incidence is 193.82. In the past 24 hours, 120,859 new PCR tests were performed. This results in a positive rate of 2.66 percent.
There are also six new deaths associated with Covid 19 infection to report. Thus, the pandemic has still claimed 18,665 lives in Austria.
In the hospital 467 patients are in treatment, three more than on Thursday. In intensive care units, there are 47 patients, one less than the previous day.
