From Thursday to Friday, 12,585 new infections were registered in Austria. This is significantly above the 7-day average of 10,938 infections. The 7-day incidence rises to 860.19.
This brings the number of active Corona cases to 122,000. Ninety-three thousand eight hundred twenty-seven new PCR tests were made in the past 24 hours. This results in a positive rate of 13.41 percent.
There are also nine new deaths. This means that 18,925 people have died in connection with SARS-CoV-2 infection across Austria.
