  1. the television
While we sleep at night, our TV is busy: If you own an OLED TV, you should leave it connected because, In sleep mode, it uses the time to regenerate the display. This is important so that the picture quality is not impaired. It can also happen that the smart TV downloads software updates overnight.
  2. the WLAN
Unplugging the router in the evening is disadvantageous for a few practical reasons: Smartphones also go through updates at night, for which they need WLAN. If someone wants to reach you in an emergency, this could also be problematic if your landline is connected to the WLAN router.
  3. the inkjet printer
Before you pull the plug on your inkjet printer at night, you should know: You will save some electricity, but you will also lose ink. The device often performs a print head cleaning run when you plug the printer back in the following day and restart it. The nozzles are sprayed with ink to prevent them from drying out.
