In the past 24 hours (as of 9:30 a.m. Friday), 11,115 new Corona infections have been reported in Austria. A week ago, there were 12,585 new cases. In the case of deaths in Vienna, there had been a data correction, as the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of the Interior explained.
So far, there have been 4,669,240 positive test results in Austria. As of 9:30 a.m., 18,977 people with SARS-CoV-2 infection had died across Austria, and 4,521,552 have recovered.
Currently, 1496 people infected with the coronavirus are receiving hospital treatment. Of these, 80 are being cared for in intensive care units.
