Eighteen deaths were associated with Covid 19 infection.
From Monday to Tuesday, 9,213 new infections were registered in Austria. The number is below the 7-day average of 10,724 infections. The 7-day incidence drops slightly to 843.38.
This brings the number of active Corona cases down to 121,809. Eighty-two thousand four hundred fifty-three new PCR tests were made in the past 24 hours. This results in a positive rate of 11.17 percent.
There are also 18 new deaths. This means that 19,024 people with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died across Austria.
Currently, 1,697 people are being treated in the hospital, 61 more than the previous day. In the intensive care unit, 93 patients are treated, five more than on Monday.
