Significantly fewer than in the past three weeks. Twenty-seven new deaths related to Covid 19 infection.
From Tuesday to Wednesday, 11,432 new infections were registered in Austria. This is significantly less compared to the Wednesday of the previous week (14,014) and the Wednesday before (15,149). And this despite similarly high test numbers.
The number is above the 7-day average of 10,355 infections. The 7-day incidence drops slightly to 814.37.
This brings the number of active Corona cases down to 120,729. In the past 24 hours, 83,596 new PCR tests were made. This results in a positive rate of 13.68 percent.
There are also 27 new deaths. Thus, 19,051 people with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died so far across Austria
