The Corona traffic light has been downgraded to low risk. Now it shows yellow-green instead of yellow as in the week before. The risk assessment parameters have also been adjusted again: Now, the focus is on the burden on hospitals, the Corona Commission reported after its shortened meeting.
Three provinces are green
The traffic light is green in the three federal states of Styria, Tyrol, and Vorarlberg, as they were even rated with shallow risk, while Burgenland was given the medium chance of the five-part scale. The risk level is also standard for Austria for the remaining five provinces.
Not only are the utilization of standard and intensive care units included in the evaluation algorithm, but also trends in wastewater monitoring. “The previously dominant indicator of recent incidence will continue to be taken into account in the form of trends,” the commission said.
