The project “Börseviertel StreetArt – Kunst am Zaun in Börsepark” is conceived as an open-air platform and cultural meeting in Börsepark. Artists and their artworks are given an open space gallery for one day.
The park becomes a meeting zone for art lovers and artists, an art marketplace, and a creative area.
The project was developed in cooperation with and at the suggestion of potential art buyers and collectors so that the artists can meet with a potentially high-caliber and, above all, art-interested public. At the same time, an attractive supporting program of renowned Viennese musicians motivated a broad public to enjoy art. Accompanying childcare and the undisturbed playground in the park make “Börseviertel StreetArt – Kunst am Zaun in Börsepark” a family event.
Anna Yacat-Bader, a Pinay contemporary Artist from Vienna, was invited to display her artworks here. Anna expressed her gratitude to the organizers for the opportunity to show her artwork during the one-day event. Filipinos and art lovers from Austria admired her contemporary paintings.
The Association Börseviertel is an association of companies, hotels, restaurants, and private individuals around the stock exchange building. It has the goal, together with its members, to revitalize the Börseviertel by highlighting all its possibilities.
These opportunities arose in 2016, and the project “Street/Art – Art on the Fence” was organized this year for the 7th time.
