Bad news for motorists! Vignette prices will be adjusted by 2.8 percent to the Consumer Price Index in 2023.
Drivers will have to dig deeper into their pockets for the vignette in the future.
According to legal requirements, vignette tariffs will be adjusted annually to the harmonized consumer price index (HICP) and increased by 2.8 percent for 2023. Thus, the annual vignette for passenger cars will cost 96.40 euros next year and for motorcycles 38.20 euros.
As always, the new vignette will be available in the last days of November at around 6,000 ASFINAG vignette sales partners in Austria and abroad and will be valid from December 1, 2022. The new adhesive vignette year 2023 bears the color purple.

As usual, the annual vignette is valid for 14 months – from December 1 of the previous year to January 31 of the following year.
