Digital fans worldwide are eagerly awaiting next Tuesday. Apple will present its new products on that day, almost certainly the new iPhone 15.

The rumour mill has been bubbling over for days: the phone’s frame is said to be made of titanium, and the charger is getting a USB-C port.

Now, a new revelation is causing a furor. The programming code of the new operating system shows, according to insiders – what is to come now: A new, mysterious button. It will once again be a physical “action button,” according to the revelators. It is supposed to be placed where old models have the off button for ringing.

This button allows for up to nine functions without unlocking the smartphone or even opening an app. Among them are a camera, silent mode, flashlight, voice memos, or a live translation program.

MacRumors’ renowned Apple insiders say, “If these rumors are true, this action button could be the one new feature of the iPhone 15 that will greatly differentiate it from predecessors.”

It will be unveiled Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Apple itself is persistently silent on all the rumours. The new models and brochures will be presented next Tuesday in California. The start is at 10 a.m. local time, so at 7 p.m. with us.

The iPhone 15 is supposed to be the hit for the Christmasasiness.
