Austria: Rain and thunderstorms on Tuesday

Thick clouds and rain spread from the west on Tuesday night. It will remain dry in the east and southeast until the morning. Winds will be weak to moderate and quite brisk in places in the east, mostly from the southeast to the southwest. The lowest temperatures are 9 to 16 degrees.

After the passage of a disturbance zone, a shallow upper Italian low will form on Friday, which will only have a limited effect on the weather in Austria. The rain will be concentrated in the south and southeast of the Alps, with intermittent rain falling along the northern slopes. Occasionally, the sun will shine through, especially in the east and north. The wind will blow weakly to moderately from south to west.
