For anyone who likes to travel with Ryanair, there is now a significant change: From now on, only digital boarding passes will be accepted.
Flying on vacation can be pretty stressful: packing suitcases, organizing flights and hotels – there is a lot to consider. And from November 12, there will be a significant change for travel enthusiasts that could be a big adjustment for many.
Ryanair: What’s new
The big, announced Ryanair change came into effect on Wednesday. From now on, the low-cost airline will only accept digital boarding passes – printed ones will no longer be accepted. These can be obtained from Ryanair’s own app.
How does Ryanair’s new digital boarding pass work?
It’s simple: passengers create their boarding pass when they check in using the app and can then show it digitally when boarding. It is essential that at least the main booker can access the tickets in the Ryanair app. They can then be sent to all fellow travelers. The prerequisite is that everyone else has and brings an electronic device, such as a cell phone.
