From 20 to 22 August, the square between Wien Mitte The Mall and Center Wien Mitte will once again transform into a bustling festival zone.

  • Radio Wien DJ — open‑air sets throughout the afternoon
  • Kasperltheater — classic puppet theatre for children
  • Open‑air cinema — screenings after sunset

The festival is free of charge and aims to bring foot traffic into the Landstraße district during the peak summer season.

🥕 Weekly Farmers’ Market in Josefstadt

The Lerchenfelder Bauernmarkt continues its August tradition, taking place every Friday in front of the Altlerchenfelder Kirche.

Dates: 7, 14, 21 and 28 August Hours: 9:00–18:00

Shoppers can expect a wide selection of regional produce, artisanal goods and a dedicated organic section. The market has become a popular meeting point for Josefstadt residents and a showcase for local agriculture.
