VIENNA — An urgent stem cell typing drive has been organized to find a life-saving donor for 22-year-old Faiza, who urgently requires healthy stem cells to survive.

The registration event, titled “Typisierungsaktion”, is scheduled to take place on Monday, September 28, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Caritas der Erzdiözese Wien, Haus Schönbrunn, located at Schönbrunner Straße 295, 1120 Wien.

Every Swab Can Save a Life

Organized in cooperation with Geben für Leben – Leukämiehilfe Österreich and supported by Caritas Pflege, the campaign calls on healthy individuals between the ages of 16 and 45 to step forward and register. Organizers emphasize that a simple cheek swab can save a life.

Financial Support and Donations

Each typing process costs the organization EUR 40, and voluntary donations are warmly welcomed. Contributions can be made via bank transfer to IBAN: AT39 2060 7001 0006 4898, and donations are tax-deductible in Austria (Deine Spende ist steuerlich absetzbar!).

For more information, supporters can reach out to Geben für Leben at Heimgartstraße 3/4, 6971 Hard, call +43 660 9778743, or visit gebenfuerleben.at.
