From Holy Saturday, new Corona rules apply. There are day and night in the catering trade no more restrictions. FFP2 masks can only be worn in settings such as vital trade, public transport, and hospitals and nursing homes. In other businesses as well as at events, the obligation is dropped. The validity of the Green Passport is extended to one year for triple vaccinated persons.
The latter has significance, especially for travel abroad. Because the G-rules in Austria hardly exist where. In hospitals, nursing, rehabilitation, or disabled facilities, vaccination, recovery, or testing are required. Vienna has made PCR testing mandatory before visits.
A mask still has to be worn, for both customers and employees, is where it is impossible to choose whether to go or not, such as food stores, banks, pharmacies, post offices, drugstores, car repair shops, or visits to public offices. In addition, masks are still compulsory on public transport, in the covered stops belonging to it, cabs, and school transport. However, the mask is only recommended when traveling by bus or cable car.
