There are four new deaths associated with Covid 19 infection.
From Sunday to Monday, 6,398 new infections were registered in Austria. This is below the 7-day average of 8,435 infections. The 7-day incidence is 663.33, bringing the number of active Corona cases to 87,996.
In the past 24 hours, 57,680 new PCR tests were made. This results in a positive rate of 11.09 percent.
In addition, there have been four new deaths related to virus infection. This means that 18,764 people across Austria have died from or with SARS-CoV-2 infection.
There are currently 777 covid patients in Austria hospitals. Forty-eight critically ill patients are being cared for in intensive care units.
