On Thursday, more and more high clouds will gather from the west, and towards the evening and at night, it will start to rain a little in the west and southwest. In the east and south, fog may persist until after midday. The wind will blow weakly to moderately in places briskly from southerly directions at high altitudes and in foehn lines. Early morning temperatures range from minus 6 to plus 4 degrees, and daytime highs range from 7 to 14 degrees.

On Friday, a small-scale area of low pressure will move across the country’s eastern half, bringing dense clouds and rain to the south and east of Austria. Most rain will fall in the south in the morning, shifting the focus to the east in the afternoon. On the other hand, some clearing is to be expected in the western half, but repeated rain showers are also to be expected here. The snow line in the west and south will be between 1200 and 1600m; in the east, it will temporarily drop to around 1000m. The wind will blow weakly to moderately from the southeast to west—early temperatures 0 to 7 degrees and daytime highs 5 to 11 degrees.

Snow up to 800 meters.
On Saturday, clouds will pass through, and the sun will only shine temporarily. In the eastern half of the day, the sun will shine more often in the first half, but denser cloud fields will move in from the west and northwest. From the morning onwards, there will be local rain showers, especially on the northern side of the Alps from Vorarlberg to Upper Austria, which will spread to large parts of Austria as the day progresses. The snow line will be between 800 and 1200 meters above sea level. The wind will blow moderately to briskly from west to northwest; only in the south will there be little wind. Early temperatures are minus 2 to plus 7 degrees, and daytime highs are 5 to 11 degrees.
On Sunday, the sun will shine almost everywhere; only in the west will precipitation be expected again in the late afternoon. It will be milder, with the snow line at 1300 meters.
