From 23 January to 2 March 2025, Rathausplatz will be transformed into a huge ice rink that will delight skating fans of all ages. The Vienna Ice Dream is one of the largest open-air artificial ice rinks in the world, on two levels.
The fantastically illuminated façade of City Hall forms the fairytale backdrop for the Vienna Ice Dream. An approximately 10,000 m² ice landscape provides young and old skating fans alike with entertaining winter fun. A special experience is the Sky Rink, an ice skating terrace on the second floor with a 120-meter-long ramp. Where else do you have the opportunity to whizz across the ice on two levels? Both families and sporty visitors looking for action on the ice will get their money’s worth here. From 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, you can skate wildly and energetically or elegantly to the sounds of popular hits and waltzes.
If you buy your ticket online, you can go directly onto the ice without contact and save 10 percent on the ticket price. You can also reserve skates and hire lockers online at a reduced price.
