Restaurant Voucher (Gutschein) in Vienna will be released soon

To help the the gastronomy sector in Vienna, the city has launched an extraordinary campaign. As reported, every Viennese household will receive a gastronomy voucher (read previous report – City of Vienna gives residents Restaurant vouchers) – to be redeemed by September. The said voucher should be in the mailboxes by the end of the June at the latest. Here are some information about the campaign:

One person household will receive a 25 Euro voucher, households with more people a voucher worth 50 Euros.
To be redeemed in your favourite pub or coffee house.
Valid only for food and non-alcoholic drinks.
Those who accept vouchers will be clearly visible at the restaurant.
The voucher should be forgery-proof, but you can also donate it.
There is no return money. Whoever dines for 41.90 euros cannot have the rest returned and cannot demand a replacement voucher.
