The most new cases were in Vienna, Upper and Lower Austria.
So far, there have been 35,853 positive test results in Austria. As of today (September 17, 2020, 09:30 a.m.), 758 people throughout Austria have died as a result of the corona virus and 28,044 have recovered. At present, 319 people are undergoing hospital treatment due to the corona virus and 55 of these patients are in intensive care units.
The new infections are divided among the provinces of Austria as follows:

Upper Austria: 124
Salzburg: 27
Styria: 21

366 new cases in Vienna
In Vienna, 12,052 coronavirus cases were known to have occurred on Thursday, 8.00 a.m. This means an increase of 366 infections in the past 24 hours, as the medical crisis management team of the City of Vienna announced. The number of deaths related to the virus remained unchanged at 230.
8,054 persons have recovered in the meantime. Yesterday, Wednesday, 6,424 corona tests were carried out in the federal capital alone, according to the crisis team.
