The Austrian Parliament will adopt the next Corona package today, Wednesday in its first regular session after the summer break. Among other things, it clarifies when a lockdown can occur and how far curfews can go. In addition, the legal basis for corona traffic lights will be created and the possibility of carrying out corona tests at doctors in private practice will be established. The special care period will be extended and expanded.
Furthermore the means for the investment premium are doubled and the family hardness fund is supplemented. More money will also be made available for artists so that they can pay social security contributions despite the loss of income due to the pandemic. In addition, the deadlines for repayment of loans will be extended further. The additional income limit for recipients of family allowances will be raised.
