Italy has decided to further restrict public life in the fight against the rapidly increasing number of infections. Since Monday, bars and restaurants have had to close after 18.00 hours. Cinemas, theaters, amusement arcades, clubs, public sports facilities and swimming pools were completely closed. Italians are urged not to go out and to limit contact with people outside their own family at home. Nationwide protests have erupted against the measures, which are initially valid until November 24.
