When the retail sector opens up again today, Monday, the Lower Austrian police will significantly increase their staff in shopping centers in the province. In this context, Chief Inspector Johann Baumschlager, in a conversation with the APA, referred to the necessity of monitoring the corona measures.

He also said that there are traffic concepts for traffic jams, especially at the SCS in Vösendorf (Mödling district). Last but not least, Baumschlager said, security services in malls were supported.

The chief inspector also made an appeal to consumers: Non-essential purchases should not be made on Monday and on the day of the Immaculate Conception on Tuesday, but only on Wednesday.
