On Wednesday, 2,553 new infections were reported in the last 24 hours. There were also 20 deaths in one day. There were 29 fewer patients registered in the normal ward. 17 more Corona patients had to be transferred to intensive care units.
So far, there have been 465,322 positive test results in Austria. As of today (March 3, 2021, 9:30 a.m.), 8,625 people across Austria have died as a result of the Corona virus and 435,669 have recovered. Currently, 1,415 people are receiving hospital care due to Corona virus. Of these, 313 are being cared for in intensive care units.
