A report published by the Austrian Press Agency shows that exactly ten percent of Austrians are fully immunized about five months after the start of Corona vaccinations in Austria.

Thus, one in ten Austrians has received both coronavirus vaccinations. Twenty-seven percent have been vaccinated at least once.

As of Tuesday, May 4, 2021, 57,652 vaccinations have been administered. In total, 2,401,839 Austrians have already received at least a partial vaccination, according to E-vaccine data: That is 27 percent of the total population. Exactly 886,669, or ten percent of Austrians, have already been fully immunized.

Highest vaccination coverage in Burgenland

The highest vaccination coverage rate is now recorded in Burgenland with 31.1 percent. In Tyrol, which had received a special quota of 100,000 vaccine doses from the EU, 30.9 percent of the population has been vaccinated, and in Vorarlberg 30.6 percent. After Carinthia (29.7), Lower Austria (26.6), Upper Austria (26.3), Vienna (25.1) and Styria (25.1), Salzburg continues to bring up the rear with a vaccination coverage rate of 24.3 percent.
