A Corona vaccination without registration is available in various parts of Vienna. By Sunday, 63,969 such vaccinations had gone over the stage. One place stands out.
Most people have been immunized at the Austria Center Vienna (ACV), with 45,989 stings so far. Because the campaign is “going very well” according to the office of City Health Councillor Peter Hacker (SPÖ), it has been extended by a week. Up to 800 people were vaccinated daily at the ACV last week.
Corona vaccine can be chosen
The vaccine can be freely chosen at the ACV – more than 21,700 people had the vaccine from Biontech/Pfizer administered. In second place is the single-use vaccine from Johnson & Johnson; more than 12,700 people have chosen it so far. More than 6,300 had Moderna immunized, and more than 5,100 chose AstraZeneca.
Almost 2,000 Corona vaccinations in Lugner City
Vaccination is also carried out in shopping centers in the federal capital, and around 2,500 stings were given in shopping centers. Here, Lugner City stands out as a magnet, according to the City of Vienna – 1,911 vaccinations have already been administered there since August 4. Via the vaccination buses, 2,422 vaccination stings have been carried out to date. More than 12,700 immunizations have been administered in vaccination containers so far, with the boxes at Rathaus-Platz (4,073) and Donauinsel (2,023) leading the way. On the vaccination boat, which has been operating on the Old Danube since July 15, depending on the weather, 171 Corona vaccinations have been administered so far.
